▼ About Transliteration
Transliteration is used to convert Devanagari script into romanized letters making it available for non-Devanagari readers.
Transliteration over here is based on ISO 15919. We are using strict nasalization but do not use the colon (:) to resolve ambiguities. There are other systems used for transliteration as well, like IAST or ITRANS but for us ISO fits best.

▼ Help
Enter your Hindi text into the text box - you can copy and paste it from any document or write it directly. Use UTF8 for input only, like नमस्ते and click on Transliterate and you will "namaste"

▼ Feedback
This is an automatic transliteration and there might be errors. If you find something please let us know and contact us at
